How much would it cost to rent the white house for a birthday party?
I have already asked this, but not many replied. I am planning a dance party, but a white house is more memorable than just a regular old room. I am hoping to rent a section of the white house, preferably the room directly under Barack Obamas office. We are hoping that we can blare music loud enough so that he can come down and wish the birthday boy a happy birthday. So, how much would the prices be? Reasonable, I hope.
Thanks,
George
Answer: obama would probably order to have u killed if your music is too loud

Tapes by C.I.A. Lived and Died To Save Image
If Abu Zubaydah, a senior operative of Al Qaeda, died in American hands, Central Intelligence Agency officers pursuing the terrorist group knew that much of the world would believe they had killed him. If the economy is no better, but not much worse in a couple years would you vote for Obama or someone else?
If the economy improves in that time, I would vote for him. If not, I would vote for a better management from the White House down.
Answer: It would depend on my options. I certainly would not vote for someone I thought would drive us over the cliff. I can not think of a republican I would vote for. I do not see the point of voting for a third party, who probably won't have the votes to win anyway. They have a little less than 3 years to change my mind.

How long before the G0p and the Nazi party become synonymous?
The rest of the World is aware that under a G0p ran White House, the down-trodden will be trampled in exchange for empowering the few ignobly rich. Yet, in the words of JFK, "If a Country cannot help the many that are poor, it cannot save the few that are rich!"
Answer: Seriously.... The Republican party, has been programmed, every sense the second world war... To only recognize socialism... You start talking Fascism, Nazi party, they've been tough, that's socialism, as well... When asking a Republican, what Hitler was, or Saddam Hussein... They'll generally answer Communist... Your talking code, to most Republicans, they simply don't understand what your talking about...
The Republicans would faint dead away, if they did any research, & found out, Russia, & or the Communist, were our allies, during the second world war.. Or more recently, & the other side of the spectrum, the radical right Saddam Hussein, being our ally, during Reagan....

Who here believes the legend of the wild Billium burning down the White House in 1812?
As the legend goes, Billium was walking towards the White House, started flailing, made a fart noise with his mouth, and the White House lit fire. Then he blamed it on the British and the War of 1812 started. I think this is very probable, what do you think?
Answer: Without a doubt. But you've forgotten other important points in history that the wild Billium has effected, such as World War 2. You see, Hitler at the time was just a normal person, doing his aerobic exercises in his basement, where he has a tendency to stick his arm out. Then Billium appeared and after farthing through his mouth, Hitler's house went on fire. Hitler then decided he would take over the world, using his strange habit of sticking his arm out as his symbol, and hate the Jewish people, seeing as the wild Billium happens to be Jewish himself. Also, Jesus being nailed to a cross was directly Billium's fault, for after Jesus saw the wild Billium and tried to heal him in pity, he was so disgusted by the creature that he grabbed a cross, ran as far as he could, and found some people to nail it to him. There are other important events, but I'm sure you can figure them out for yourself. All of history's problems are caused by the wild Billium.
From the legend of the wild Billium which isn't really a legend, everyone can learn a valuable lesson: that you, the wild Billium in fact, has no friends.

Why did the British burn down the White House during the War of 1812?
Im doing a persuasive paper on the War of 1812. Im a war hawk (for the war) and I need some ideas on how to say why we should go to war with Britain because they burned down the White house. Thanks for helping!
Answer: You have a major problem with your argument. The Burning of the White House was not a cause of the war. It happened during the war in 1814.
As for the burning of the White House, the Brits did it for 2 reasons...
1) There was no one to stop them. The US Army was in shambles. (While the Navy performed brilliantly, the Army was an embarrassment against the Brits, but that's another story)
2) Retribution....Earlier in the war, the US Army, in one of their rare victories against the Brits, attacked and conquered the town of York in Ontario. (Now called Toronto) Unfortunately, the US Army after their victory, went and burned the town down. So the Brits chose to return the favor. The White House wasn't the only Govt building burned down. The US Capitol, the Library of Congress, and the US Treasury, were also burned down.

Why did Canada burn down the White House and would they do it again?
As the song goes ....
"The white house burned burned burned and were the ones who did it!"
SO, why did the Canadians burn down the white house?
And, How is it that the Americans believe they won the war if their national governemnt building was burned down and they did not capture the land they sought?
Answer: "Is there really anyone in either country who knows anything about the War of 1812 who would seriously state that Canada burned the public buildings in DC? It is the ultimate non-issue.
The only connection Canada had with the attack on DC was that it was done in compliance with orders from General Sir George Prevost, British C-in-C in North America and who was born in New Jersey would you believe, to attack American coastal cities in retaliation for the burning of the Canadian village of Dover."

How can I get a career in the white house?
Firstly, do NOT shoot down my dream. Im just asking a simple question. And no mean comments, thats just rude.
Im just an average person that will soon get a degree from a University. Its not an Ivy League or top notch school. Its a state school. So I need good answers and advice. I like write, so Im interested in a career that allows me to do that in the white house. My question is, should I major in political science and then law since the white house is centered around those areas? Or do I major in english because I want a career as a writer? And what does the government look for when hiring an individual?
Provide links and references if you can.
Answer: i think you should add economy to the list.
M.A. is preferred.
you need to join a party and be extremely active. you must be able to socialize and charismatic so you can get donations. you cant get to the high ranks of the party without political and financial support.
white house is far and requires first to get closer to the right people, both politicians and the wealthy.
get ready to live like a shark if you go political.
there are 2 jobs i respect: writers(books) because they choose a brave way in life and experienced politicians. people might hate politicians but they give everything a human can to keep the country alive.
EDIT:
JOIN TO THE RHETORIC GROUP or whatever it called in your university.
become an expert with this art.
Obama won only because of his speeches.
world leaders train it every single day. Hitler and Chamberlain.
EDIT:
think about current action how will affect future. if you become activist for green cars and later in life you say you are against, people will throw this at you.

What is the job description of the White House heath czar?
Tom Daschle ended his bid for secretary of health and human services recently and he also stepped down from his position as White House heath czar, a job with a West Wing office. What is the heath czar and what do they do?
Answer: "What is the heath czar and what do they do?"
To mix the bits of candy into the vanilla ice cream :-)
Actually, the health czar is nothing more than a puppet for the Obama administration. Its sole duty is to carry out the wishes of the President, but provide political cover for him at the same time. A President appoints this czar, pretending that its somehow independent of his office. The recommendations made by the czars office will in fact be whatever Obama wants

Are you all aware about the petition at the White House regarding the Catholic church?
There is currently a petition at the White House to shut down the Catholic church. Apparently they are a hate group for not supporting gay marriage. What happened to our first amendment rights? (By the way, I am not Catholic.) What happened to America? And who is next?
I am aware of the website and the 25,000 signatures thing. I am not an idiot. I am not saying the government is either, I am saying that the American population is becoming so.
Answer: Hi
This is stupid and probably linked to the militant gay rights brigade. It's as stupid as when Richard Dawkins wanted the pope arrested when he came to the UK.
These kinds of protests do nothing to help us (gay and lesbian people) and they ignore the right that others have to hold their own point of view.
It should not be illegal to say that gay relationships are wrong, to campaign against them, or to refuse to marry gay and lesbian couples. In the same way, I am free to campaign for same sex marriage, so that hopefully one day I can marry my partner.
:-)

Where was the White house located before it was moved to DC?
Everyone thinks Im crazy, but the white house was never white it was black and it wasnt in DC. When the birtish burned it down they moved it and then re-painted it white. Am I right or wrong?
Answer: The White House has always been in DC; however, you are right, it wasn't always white, it was repainted after the war of 1812. I can't imagine it actually being black however! The first president to reside in the White House was John Adams. Washington resided in New York during his terms

Did the White House really turn down this offer?
I heard that IBM offered to work on reducing fraud in the US Government for free. And the White House turned them down.
Now I could suggest a number of nefarious reasons for turning down such an offer. But considering the cost of waste, fraud, and abuse in the US Government today, what it was going to cost the taxpayers, how big the deficit is, and how far in debt we are, refusing help at NO COST makes no sense.
Answer: Yes, it is true that they rejected this offer. (It was covered on Your World w/Neil Cavuto)
I guarantee that IBM knows, and may even care, more about how to make a business efficient and effective.
I can accept that some jerk in government had some concerns over some thing or another. But there is no justification for not being able to reconcile any concerns and actually try to find fraud and waste within the system. This is just another indicator that the pigs and slobs just don't have a grip on why the electorate is about to rip some new openings for them to use.
