How can I obtain cricket stats starting this millenium only?

I want to obtain the Test and ODI stats for individual batsmen and bowlers as well as teams counting only results from 1 January 2000 to the present. To the best of my knowledge the ESPN Cricinfo website is the best resource for cricket stats but I want stats specifically beginning from the aforementioned date only!

Answer: Google provides RSS feed. Use that in your website. I am not sure about Cricinfo. Anyhow, check for RSS feed from cricinfo too.

I find Cricinfos font too small. Know of any well designed scorecard in which scores of team and batsmen are visible easily?

Answer: Cricinfo is good, but if you find it too small you can zoom in on the site a bit to get larger text, as you can with any web page.

You should find that in the bottom right hand corner of your screen is a magnifying glass icon, with '100%' next to it. Click on that and the font will become larger.

Answer: I saw an article in Cricinfo about that as well. Such an exotic performance from a debutant. It was totally devastating for the opposing team! I planned to see who won that match after as well and without any shock Rajasthan (Chahar's team) won. Lets' hope, he keeps up the good work!

What do you rate as the greatest innings by a batsman on the losing side?

Answer: Allan Border's 62 not out at the MCG in 1982.
I've never seen a batsman in worse form than Border, he had made only 245 runs in his last 15 innings and even his biggest fans were starting to question why he was still being selected. At the fall of the 9th wicket Australia required 74 to win, Border and Thomson survived for about 30 overs and just missed winning the Test and the Ashes by 3 runs.

How many times you have seen a batsman Virtually ending the career of a bowler?

Or a Bowler giving a career ending performance. A performance after which the particular bowler never got selected to play international cricket.

I remember a bowler named Davis or something from New zealand got hammered by Sachin in 1997 and never played ODIs again.And his return in Test cricket after 4 months was Negligible (as I see on cricinfo).

Do you remember any other such performances?

Answer: I can recall that Saqlain Mustaq's test career met an unexpected end after one bad performance against India. He was recalled to the team after a gap of 6 months, but Sehwag (in the company of Tendulkar) made sure that was his last test. Cricinfo editor said Sri Lanka maybe favorite for world cup. Then why did they lose to Pakistan?

I dont think SL will reach beyond quarter finals at most. if they were favorite like the cricinfo editor said, they would not concede a heavy total of 277. And then would not succumb to Afridi bowling. Afridi isnt even a regular bowler.

Answer: Well they still remain one of the favorite. Pakistan played better game. It is to be seen, being mercurial would they maintain this standard.
Secondly middle order of Lankan batting muddled.
Still SL recovered well to loose by 11 runs as the run rate required was 8.32+ per over.

Why is Botha being released from the central contract and allowed to captain South Australia?

IMO, he still has some years left in international cricket and has done reasonably well for SA in T20s and ODIs. Then why is he allowed to captain South Australia? I read somewhere (may be in Cricinfo) that its his international career farewell after the WC. Does that mean hell never play for SA again?

Answer: This is the first I've heard about it & I can only surmise he has passed his use by date as far as the SACB is concerned.But their loss is the Redbacks gain I suppose.

edit @ sundaroc...indeed it was good to read that only Dhoni is out of step and of course the BCCI!
