What shapes did Antoni Gaudi use in his architecture?
On his architecture people say he used organic material and certain shapes do you know what kind of shapes they were exactly? P.S thankyou to whover answers! it means alot x
Answer: Gaudi's work was greatly influenced by forms of nature and this is reflected by the use of curved construction stones, twisted iron sculptures, and organic-like forms which are traits of Gaudi's Barcelona architecture.
Barcelona Gaudi architecture - Park Guell.Gaudi also adorned many of his buildings with coloured tiles arranged in mosaic patterns. This added another important dimension to his buildings which is so often overlooked by architects - the use of colour.
The combination of original design, interesting shaped stonework, and vibrant colours in Gaudi's work give the viewer a truly breathtaking visual experience.

Answer: It's actually the Facade, rear view, of the Batiló constructed from 1904 to 06 a project of Antoni Gaudi & Cornet, Architects.
It's a building that was built in honor of the Patron Saint of Catalonia - St. George, by the way, in Barcelona.
Of course, you must have figured out that the photograph was by Joan A Parés of Tretzevents
Of course, the online translators would give us some very funny renditions.
The picture is, of course, of the monument, taken by the lady and the credits are what you're seeing there.
Cheers!
PS,
And "De nada", it was nothing, really.
Just don't try the literal translation because you'll end up with nonsense.

Why is Antoni Gaudí be descibed as an iconoclast?
When researching Gaudi most sites seem to say that he was an iconoclast, but give no indication as to why. Can anyone help me out here, or suggest a site that might say why?
Thankyou!
Answer: An iconoclast, in this instance, is one who acts to upset or 'go against' the prevailing traditions of his area of expertise. This Gaudi did well. He developed his own architectural form that was, in a sense, the inversion of the prevailing architectural norm. There is some mention of his fondness for adding bits of tile and such to his surfaces giving it a fragmented look. This is accepted as one of the reasons his name is still used today to describe the 'overdone' - gaudy.
