Im a big fan of Jared Leto but what is up with the new EMO look. The man is in his late 30s and is dressing like all the male teens I see at the mall. Long hair, skinny frame, and tight clothing look is about as unmanly as it gets. I know he is in a band but still the eyeliner needs to go!

Answer: I don't understand why men in their late 30's aren't supposed to don emo look? for me, it's just another type of clothing. why do we need some age range for certain model of clothing?

Okay so my instruments teacher told us to write a biography of someone in the music industry. So I choose Jared Leto, the lead singer of 30 Seconds to Mars. Okay so he told us to make a biography, but to make it interesting, fun, and creative, so that it doesnt bore him.

How can I make the biography really cool and fun to read?
Jared is still alive, just so you know. ;D

Answer: How can this biography NOT be fun? Jared Leto was born in Louisiana but now calls LA home: he is a great actor (he gained 60Lbs to play Mark David Chapman!); an artist (not only does he compose the music & write the lyrics for 30STM, he is also an awesome photographer - he has taken some unbelievable photos); a great videographer (when directing the band's music videos he sometimes goes by the pseudonym 'Bartholomew Cubbins', which is the name of a Dr. Seuss character in the book 'The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins' & the sequel 'Bartholomew And The Oobleck' (links for both books can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartholomew_Cubbins ); a great cinematographer; he plays several instruments including (but I'm sure not limited to) guitar, bass, piano/keyboards, the xylophone/glockenspiel (not sure which, they show him playing it in the 'Making Of This Is War' video which was on the extended version of the 'This Is War' deluxe edition) & I also believe he plays the flute; he/the band have awesome symbolism/iconography; when signing autographs, the band came up w/ a rather ingenious & cool idea: Jared, his brother Shannon & Tomo do not sign their names, rather they use symbols (they started this because it's quicker then signing their full names which allows them to give more autographs); he /the band started a website to spread the word about some of the environmental dangers the earth is facing @ http://abeautifullie.org/ ; he's a vegetarian; he/the band loves their fans and even refer to them as 'family': he/the band gathered about a 1000 fans for what was called 'The Summit' and these fans are the back-up voices/choir you hear on the 'This Is War' album; he brings fans up on stage at their concerts (for this tour, for the last song of the night- which is 'Kings And Queens' - he selects about 30 or so fans and brings them on stage to sing along - I've been truly lucky & got to do this twice!), I don't know any other bands that are so fan involved (just one of the many reasons we live them so much - they give a lot back to the fans); he & the band are very ambiguous - I find this a great words to use when referring to them because almost everything they do - including their lyrics, symbolism/iconography, videos, etc are the definition of ambiguous: that which can be interpreted in several different ways because no set meaning has been given - Jared even stated in an interview that once the band has written & released a song, fans can interpret the song however they wish, they "relinquish ownership" of it to the public (see this interview: 30 Seconds To Mars: State Of The Union @

As somebody who knows nothing about diet and fitness could somebody tell me judging by this picture what kind of a diet Jared Leto would be on? How many meals would he consume in a day and what would he include in that diet and not include do you think?

What ever happened to that Charles Manson movie with Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto?

I just came upon an article about one of the Manson Family members dying in prison, and I remembered a movie that was in the making maybe 2 years ago with Jared Leto playing Charles Manson and Lindsay Lohan playing one of his followers. I cant find anything on the web about it ever being released or what ever happened to it. Anyone know?

Answer: Jared Leto was never in it? Lohan was slated to play Nancy Pitman in a Manson movie but it's been in 'pre-pro' for a couple of years now. If it ever gets completed, it won't be a wide release.
