I can think of some. I didnt like Jim Careys performance as Andy Kaufman in Man on the moon, and I didnt like Robert Downey Jrs performance as Charlie Chaplin.
Im sure there are a lot more but I want to know what some are that you can think of.

Answer: Johnny Depp in From Hell - a Cockney accent worse than Dick Van Dyke, and yet no one ever mentions or criticises it - everyone seems to think he's one of the best actors who ever lived when he's given the easiest roles in the world to play. I do think he is good, but he's not the genius some people think and From Hell was a very bad day at the office.

At first I couldnt really put my finger on why made Jim Carrey not resemble Andy Kaufman as he should have and then I realized that Andy Kaufman had blue eyes but Jim Carrey has brown eyes. So my question is, seeing as how Andys blue eyes are so characteristic and noticeable, why didnt Jim Carrey wear blue contact lenses in the movie Man on the Moon?? I think the movie would have seemed more realistic if he had.

Answer: Maybe he didn't want to wear them, or couldn't wear them? Harry Potter had green eyes in the books, and a BIG deal was made about it. Yet Daniel Radcliffe had blue eyes in the HP movies, apparently he 'couldn't' wear contacts.

What are the odds the following people arent really dead?

Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrisson, Kurt Cobain, Andy Kaufman and Princess Diana. These are the celebs you hear the theyre still alive in hiding stories the most, especially Elvis.
And what would happen if one of them was actually found alive? Would they be facing charges? And would anyone ever believe a celebrity is actually dead again?

Old school fans: Who was an underrated announcer during the heydays of wrestling?

I think Lance Russell from Memphis was really good. He even make the Andy Kaufman angle that much more believable with his commentary

Who was another old schooler who was great? Also, Vince McMahon himself was a great announcer for the WWF in the 80s all the way up to 1997. He played the babyface play by play man

Think of someone who doesnt get mentioned much. As good as Monsoon and JR were/are, they get mentioned all the time

Answer: Lord Alfred Hayes and Rod Trongard rarely get much of a mention nowadays. Gordon Solie gets mention from old school wrestling fans and rightfully so. Hayes was a great announcer when he called a match. He had that smooth, sophisticated British accent and could spot the tiniest details of in-ring psychology in a match. For instance, in the Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect match held at Madison Square Garden he spotted that Perfect spat his gum out nonchalantly out of the ring while Hart flung his sunglasses in response. And in a match between Ravishing Rick Rude and Tito Santana he was correct when he noted that Rude is not some big, strong muscular guy with showboating moves and he is a well schooled pro wrestler. Hayes had an entertaining segment called "The Call of the Action" for Coliseum Video where he would show a snippet of a match featuring a WWF Superstar in action, such as The Rockers, Jimmy Snuka or Shane Douglas. Then he would show the snippet again--this time, he would give a point-by-point breakdown of all the moves the wrestler just did. Hayes helped me enrich my vocabulary of wrestling holds with that segment and added smarts and sophistication to any match he would call.

Rod Trongard was also a great announcer for the AWA. I absolutely loved his commentary for the Curt Hennig-Nick Bockwinkel match for the AWA Heavyweight Championship. He had a dramatic voice to start off the match: "This is the moment Curt Hennig has waited for. That he was wanted. That he was prayed for. Has arrived. Coast to coast. Border to border. Continent to continent." As soon as the match began, Nick Bockwinkel dropkicked Hennig, bbody-slammed him and tried to get an easy pin in the opening seconds of the match. Trongard's dramatic voice in the closing seconds of the match was unforgettable and fit the drama of the match perfectly. A bleeding Curt Hennig, desperately trying to unseat man nearly twice his age, went for a stepover toehold which he converted to an Indian deathlock (figure four leglock). Bockwinkel was grimacing in pain and refusing to give up because he knew if he held the match would go the time limit draw and he would get to keep his Championship. "As long as I live I will never forget it! These men have not given everything that they have to give but there is to give to the sport of professional wrestling. Ahh! This is too much. This is too much" His commentary throughout the match was unforgettable: from calling the moves of the match to analyzing the wrestlers in-ring psychology to the drama of a big championship match, Trongard was an underrated announcer during the heydays of pro wrestling.

Joey Styles also deserves praise as ECW's announcer. He could call the moves of match right on the spot. I loved his announcing for the 2 Cold Scorpio-Sabu match for the ECW TV Title which ended in a 30-minute draw. "Arabian face buster," "Springboard guillotine legdrop," was great and Syles, when the situation called for it, could play the role of the straight laced announcer very well. A good example of this would be the ECW TV Title match in a fatal four-way match pitting Pitbull number 2 vs. Shane Douglas vs. 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Chris Jericho. Douglas played the cowardly heel who wanted no part of the match throughout and tried to avoid Pitbull at all costs. And Styles would mockingly call him "the personification of valor"--when he didn't want to get into the ring and wrestle and was infuriated with Douglas's cowardly behavior--such as nailing Pitbull with a chair at the start of the match. Joey Styles was the voice of ECW.

Answer: I hate it when they mock the sports teams. Or I hate it when Foregin superstars cheer up their Home and say it's better than America. (La Resistance for example.)

Was Andy Kaufman possibly the best celeb wrestler to date?It always seem like he took more serious than the others that came fter him.

Answer: The FABs(Keirn and Lane) are some of my favorite tag teams of all time!! Greatly underated....should have gotten a chance in the WWF or NWA/WCW. Watch their matches with the Road Warriors or with the Sheep Herders...CLASSIC!

Eddie Gilbert was also great...one of the best heels ever!

Kaufman was just plain awesome.....again one of the best heels ever....he made you believe it was real....you hated him and loved to see him get "hurt".
