Can a wolverine be trained and kept as a house pet?

My son was wanting a wolverine as a pet. My wife think its a stupid idea and probably not legal.

But can a wolverine be kept as a house pet if raised from a "pup"?

Answer: I have one and things are going fine so far. I've had it for about 3 years and it's really friendly :\ The only thing is that you need to feed it a mixture of red meat and dog food, since wolverines need more protein than the average dog food can provide. Also, make sure your son is over the age of 13 otherwise it does pose a few dangers, but other than that, things should be fine :) Oh, and they go under Canine in most states, so it should be fine, law-wise :)

I mean is the apocalypse of season 2 from wolverine and the x men, the same apocalypse which had a time travel in the x men evolution?

Answer: Wolverine and the X-Men is not related to X-Men Evolution. They are different stories and differerent versions of the same basic characters.

Also, Wolverine and the X-Men has been cancelled and there will not be a second season.

The wolverine is sometimes called a skunk bear. Does its musk really smell like skunk?

I have read that wolverine musk contains all acids where as skunk contains thiols. What does wolverine spray smell like and how does it compare to skunk musk?

Answer: Various writings within books as well as on the web state that Wolverines, along with a few other mustelids can actually spray their musk like a skunk. However, it is widely debated as to the use. Most sources agree that the wolverine will mark its food and territory with its musk, but a few sources also state that the wolverine will defend itself with it as well.

I have read the article about the musk containing acids and alcohols, but have no idea what the musk smells like. I have googled each compound and their descriptors are generic, using words like "foul, strong and rancid."

The musk has absolutely no compounds in common with skunk, so I too wish to know what it really smells like. I have been told that it smells like mink or burning axel grease, but that is all I have to share.

Why does Sabertooth look so different in the Wolverine movie?

He looks more like cat in X-men 1. And in the X-men origins:Wolverine movie (that takes place in the past) he looks more human. Is this because as time goes on his mutation turns him into a more beastly creature?

Answer: I think they wanted to give Sabretooth a more human personality for Wolverine, less animalistic then he was in X-Men 1.

Perhaps Weapon X or Romulus are responsible for his memory loss and physical appearance change as he cannot seem to recognise his 'brother' either.

Having said that it could be a secondary mutation as many other mutants have gone through.

In reality they just did a crap interpretation of Sabretooth in X-Men 1 but that was because it was early days. While trying to make him some imposing fearsome beast in X-Men 1 I found the Origins Sabretooth, while less animal was better representation of the dark, sometimes misunderstood but most definitely violent and psychotic comic book Sabretooth.

It has amazing art and a great ending. I was kind of sad that they didn't stick to the story though. Is Wolverine going to be in the Avengers movie coming out?

In the new Avengers movie coming out in 2012 I havent seen Wolverine in any of the previews. I mean hes a marvel hero too, plus Hugh Jackman is amazing so are they putting him in the film, if not why?

Answer: He won't be in it because the X-men rights are owned by 20th Century Fox, while most of these new ones are owned by Paramount. So don't get your hopes up, although The Wolverine should be out in a few years.

What is the best Wolverine Graphic Novel, in your opinion?

What do you believe is the ALL TIME BEST Wolverine Graphic Novel? Other than Wolverine Origin, cus i have that one. Im looking to buy some more cus all i have are normal comics. So what are your recommendations for graphic novels?

Answer: - The Original min-series of "wolverine" by chris claremont and frank miller is great, its like the citizen cane of wolverine comics

- My personal favorite's are the "enemy of the state" vol.1 & vol 2. by Mark miller and John rometa jr are sooooo great. Its wolverine just fighting everybody, one of the best comics runs of the decade.

- Also the "old man logan" graphic novel should be out by Christmas, this seres is also by mark miller and also.......amazing !

How do you make wolverine claws and magneto/juggernaut helmets?

Its for an xmen parody skit were doing later. It can be VERY simple such as straws with aluminum foil wrapped around it for wolverine claws. But i want to make it so that I can somehow release and bring the claws back into my hands.

Answer: Dont know bout the retractable claws but if you have the time you can make the helmets with papermache..! You could try googling it for different methods to use, but what always works for me is finding a balloon shaped like my head (lol i know) and blowing it up to be the same size. Then Covering it in the papermache. Burst the Balloon and paint it the colours you want.
For claws it would be very hard. I googled it and these are a few sites i got..

Star Trek for me. Wolverine is great, but the X-men movies havent done much for me.
