(We define exotic as any place beyond New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, although we have a special fondness, when money permits, for France.) Kids grow up faster than one imagines, however, and this year it suddenly became clear to us that even the Michelin Guide would not solve the problems raised by the prospect of carting Nathaniel around Europe - or, for that matter, the American West.
