what will i need to throw an epic party?

im planning a halloween party and i want it to be off the hook.

Answer: Two words:
Helium. Balloons.
They're epic, when I had my party, they were our victims. We sucked them dry like we were vampires!! Everybody loves them :D

Food:
Cupcakes- They can have cool Halloween designs on them same with cookies
Pizza- Do I even need to explain why? Everyone loves pizza, and for a joke you can drop some gummy worms on them to make it look rotten lol
Burgers- You can have a lot of fun with these
Sweets- It's what Halloween is all about!!!

Decorations:
Paintings- You and some volunteers can paint some pictures and put them in some frames. You can make them creepy portraits, spooky silhouettes, or a scene depicting a creepy "family" moment e.g The beheading of Great great uncle Orville
Cobwebs- These are great and they always show up at parties, you can put them on the windows, on the furniture etc.
Dry ice fog- You can purchase it from calling the yellow pages or a good supermarket. When handling it use great caution, use gloves and tongs and put it in an air tight container Then at the party put it in something like a cauldron or something and pour some water on it. Warm water makes thicker smoke but doesn't last long but cooler water lasts longer but isn't as thick

Of course you can invite anyone you want but make sure you invite your closest friends, you'll be able to have lots of fun and it'll be easier to impress them. Keep it at a reasonable number, too many people and you'll get crowded. It'll also be easier for clean up, making sure all your guests are having a good time etc

Costume contest- After everyone arrives open up a ballot where people can vote for their favourite costume, annouce the winner within the final hour of the party and give out prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Pumpkin carving contest- Same above
Truth or Dare- Come up with kooky dares and creepy truths, it's a real scream

Laser tag- Head out into the garden and give everyone a flash light or a laser pointer. Here's a way of playing it. Give about 4 or 5 people a light, these are vampire hunters. Everyone else= Vampire. The objective is the vampire hunters have to catch all the vampires before time runs out. If a vampire gets caught they die (sit on the sidelines) but if they're not out yet, they can ''bite'' (tag) a hunter and switch roles. Last vampire standing wins.
hide and seek- Play inside with all the lights off, give each person a glowstick so they can see
zombie tag- look in sources
MONSTER!- It's kind of a mixture of tag and hide and seek. One person is the monster and everyone has to bundle together and pretend to sleep, when the monster ''attacks'' (sneaks up behind them and roars) everyone runs away, the monster has to hunt everyone down, the people who get eaten can either become a monster or just be out. Final person standing wins

When Griffin is releasing the BTR deluxe edition album. Gustavo has to hire songwriters but they end up fighting and cannot write the song. So Gustavo writes the song himself. Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan want to write their own song, Gustavo doesnt agree with them so the boys want Katie to open a health spa in the Palmwoods so they can write the song while Camille and Buddha Bob keep Gustavo busy. In the song writing process, Kendall and Carlos write a song named "Oh" while James and Logan prefer their song called "Yeah", this creates a fight between the members of the group. After the fight, they realize the song can collaborate together and form "Oh" and "Yeah", the song then becomes Oh Yeah and is approved by Griffin.

I went to a Rick Perry rally here in Katy area (west suburb of Houston) and saw SARAH PALIN speak in person - it was awesome. Her introduction was met by a roar of jubilation I have only seen at a football game when the home team scores the winning touchdown with no time left on the clock.

My little 5 year old girl is a HUGE Sarah Palin fan - I think it is great for her to see a strong female in politics who exudes the morals and values my wife & I want her to have.

Tea Party's give us hope.

Why does mainstream music keep getting worse?

I have been fine with music on the radio for a while...but in the past 5 years there has been a steep decline in quality. the music is so terrible...every time i think they hit rock bottom someone else releases a "song" that is 10x worse. what is going on? i hear new music that is good but its never on the radio.
rap stations dont even play rap anymore. a lot of them play pop now.

Answer: Because in the glory days, even though record labels were corporate, they weren't as corporate as they are now. I.E. bands did self-promotion and didn't rely on someone to cram their generic crap down people's throats. All the way back as the roaring 1920s (as it was called) music was rebellious, independent, and creative of expression was a must. For the likes of Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, even GOOD pop (Michael Jackson - in spite of scandals), there is really no one that can define this last generation. I am talking about artists that people would literally die for to save them. I mean have these clips of Michael Jackson in concert been shown to these kids? People were crying like insane train wrecks. They were literally in like a manic state to see these artists perform. I mean, Marvin Gaye? Women adored these guys. No artist today has this sense of sex appeal, originality, or independent lyrics (where they will actually write their own!!!). The 90s was the last time, in my opinion, we saw an artist change the course of time (Curt Cobain). Well, everything was average in the late 90s, then the second "new wave" wannabe crap came out. Lady Gaga, Megan Fox (for actresses), Katy Perry, they all try to say "it's trendy to be bisexual" even though they are all married to a man, lol. They forget that music about these issues was around LONG before they were born, and actually had meaning behind their controversy. It will continue to go down hill until someone can define a new era...and it does not look like anyone will anytime soon. To the kids that listen to this crap: IT'S ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE. Thanks, end of rant.

I forgot to mention Led Zeppelin, KISS, Blue Oyster Cult, Van Halen, AC/DC, etc...hell even disco music for the swingers porn scene was way better than this new crap! (and yes, we all watched this sexual trend at one time or another no matter what you feel about disco, lol).

Audition Song: Oliver the Musical?

I am planning on auditioning for a local production of the musical Oliver in about a month, and I need help picking out an audition song. Here is some of the critieria I am looking for:

-CANNOT be from Oliver itself.
-CANNOT be from anything like Wicked, Rent, Les Miserables, or *My Fair Lady. I would prefer it to come from a show that is similiar to Oliver.
-I am a female, and would like a song that would give me the best chance of being called back for Nancy. I can sing anywhere from Alto 2 to Soprano 1, but Nancy is an alto, so a song with an alto belt would be the best.
-The song HAS TO BE FROM A MUSICAL. I cannot sing anything like lady gaga or Katy Perry.
-A song with a cockney accent would be a plus, but its not required.

*Note: I know My Fair Lady is similar to Oliver, but I know everyone at auditions will probably be singing a song from this show, so I would rather not sing anything from this musical.

Answer: Ok 1st, My Fair Lady is nothing like Oliver. Annie's music is nothing like Oliver's. disregard those thoughts.

If you want to go for Nancy, it is an alto role. Dont worry about singing uppoer range music. save the soprano work for the girls trying for Widow Corney.

I would take a look at Who Can I Turn To from The Roar of the Gresaepaint, the Smell of the Crowd.
It's a great song, that is similar in range and emotion as As Long as He Needs Me, Nancy's big solo.

Poll: birthday party theme?

I am having my sweet sixteen soon, but i cannot decide on a theme. I am planning on inviting alot of people so i am wondering if it would be better to not have a theme? Because most of the themes i have considered would require people to dress up e.i. - roaring 20s or zombies

Answer: i saw katy perry recently had a birthday and her theme was "willy wonka" there was candy everywhere and everyone was required to wear white and after they had a paint fight on their clothing
i thought it was really cute
