Any other events like it? I know some like the ultra music festival, electric zoo and nocturnal. Any other else out there Im missing out of? I really wanna know if there is any events similar to EDC and would like try it out.

How can I sneak out in the middle of the day to Electric Zoo (a concert)?

I am going to Electric Zoo in NYC which is this all day event from 11am to 11pm. I live like an hour out of the city. Ill be gone from probably 2-9:45. All my friends are going and I know of probably like 300-400 people going. I asked my parents and my mom said yes but my dad said no. Im 16 years old and am a responsible kid. Thanks

Im looking for high end el wire sunglasses or shutter shades that light up blue. There are tons of cheap ones but I want really nice ones that glow in the dark very brightly for as long as possible. I plan to use them at raves and electronic dance music concerts and festivals. I want them for EDC, electric daisy carnival, but will use them often at other events as well. What are some good night clubs in the new york, new jersey, connecticut area that have special events where dj like (david guetta, tiesto, hardwell, avicii) come and dj.I know about electric zoo and edc but im looking for like a nightclub like echostage in DC or some of the clubs in south beach Miami. Are there any like that? Any help would be great. I love house techno music and it always seems like I find out too late that dj are coming to a club and the ticket prices are outrageous. I ordered electric zoo tickets online on thursday and still havent gotten them yet.

Answer: That all depends on where the letter is mailed from.
Generally, Mail sent from your own city..should come the next day * if it was sent out at least before 2pm.
Mail in your state - 1-2 days
Neighboring states 2-3 days
Other regions can take anywhere from 2-5 days.

With something like tickets, they probably have a processing time, but even with that, if theyre in the same city.. I would be questioning them, if they didnt come by Wed's mail.

what are some other music festivals that are like WMC, electric zoo and ultra music festival?

I live in NY and I was planning on going to electric zoo but thats in september and I leave for college in late August. The college im going to is in florida but of course WMC and Ultra Music Festival (are they the same thing I wasnt sure?) are in March. So does anyone know of any other music festivals like these that take place in the north east area from now until august, or any that are in florida from september to dec?

or Coachella has some stuff like that, but it's in April in California.. those are the only ones I can think of aside from Ultra and Electric Zoo, but they're not in the locations you specified, and I'm pretty sure those are the only other big electronic music events in america:[ unless you just want any music festival, then theres more!! bonnaroo, lollapalooza, etc etc.
But!! If you feel like traveling over the summer you could hit up EDC in California, Texas, or Puerto Rico :D

Answer: Close your eyes, imagine being there, Kaskade, Avicii, NYC ... can you imagine NOT going?
It's all a matter of how much you love EDM. I missed last year's Ultra and still regret it, so if you can work, and make another $300, go.

If you go to a private venue, like a club, you'd still spend about $75 to watch one DJ, here you will have a fabulous lineup, think about that too.
The energy alone is just out of this world, and the crowd is so cool, no violence, no problems.

I will go. Look at it this way, EDC was a child's game compared to this one!

Hey! Im going to the Electric Zoo in NY and I am wondering what types of clothes should I wear? I want to be comfy, but I want to look sexy too.

Answer: Wear something lightweight and comfortable that you can dance in.

A longer cotton skirt (hits right above your knees) and a tank top is probably best. Don't wear anything too short, or you will not be able to dance! Don't wear jeans; you will be too hot.

Since it's an electronic music festival, you should probably wear something bright/shiny/glittery. Bring lots of glowsticks! Put them in your hair! Put glitter on your face and your body.

For shoes, don't wear heels or anything you don't want to get dirty! Chacos, crocs or other sandals would be the best.

Answer: My friend, there is not direct train service to the Randall's Island from Trenton, NJ. Therefore, you will need to make multiple changes in order to get from there to Randall's Island. Here's how to get from Trenton to Randall's Island.

Step 1: take NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor Line from Trenton to New York Penn Station. The one way fare on the NJ Transit from Trenton to NYC will cost you $12.50. If you traveling during the off peak hours, the round trip will cost you just $21.50. Please purchase your ticket before board, because fares are higher aboard.

Step 2: once in New York City, transfer to the New York City subway. Take the uptown (northbound) "E" train (Blue Line on the subway map) from Penn Station Lexington Avenue/53rd Street.

Step 3: at Lexington Avenue/53rd Street, transfer upstairs to the uptown (northbound) #6 train (Green Line). Take the uptown #6 train from 51st Street to 125th Street.

The fare on the subway is $2.25 one way ($4.50 round trip). The transfer between subway lines are free.
