Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey to me seemed like the "main" ride at the new Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. I am going there this weekend for my birthday and The Grand Opening Because I have been waiting for a couple years now for it to open. Now I am looking for you to cover these topics on the ride: Excitment for kids ages 8-12, what type of ride it is, Details, How many people per vehcile, what the vehicle looks like, and your overall rating out of 1-10. Answer: If you are a Harry Potter fan the ride is awesome! No matter what age. And if you are not a Potter fan the ride is very good.

Seriously - I haven't heard anyone complain about this ride.

The ride is like Spiderman as it moves you through the side in 4 man seats and use large screens to put you in the story.

What is the difference in the harry potter childrens book box sets?

I am buying the childrens harry potter book box set as a present, but when I was on amazon it said "Note that the Boxed Set is the 2010 Updated Version and is Different to the Picture". The picture has a blue box with the books contained in it. I need to get the original UK Childrens covers on the books.
Does anyone know if the 2010 version has the original covers on?

Answer: The ones published by Scholastic are different covers (they're actually the same cover as the Harry Potter books in Vietnamese, mandarin and Arabic! Only in english!), and i really kind of hate them. My husband and I are attending Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince Midnight Showing for our anniversary. Though I am a huge Harry Potter fan, this will be my first Midnight Showing. Answer: I've been to quite a few midnight showings of Harry Potter and I have arrived at 6:30 or so for all of them. The people going to see Harry Potter at midnight are all die hard fans, so it's fun sitting in line with them. My friends and I bring Harry Potter inspired treats like acid pops, licorice wands, and cauldron cakes, etc., and play Harry Potter trivia, name that book, and so on. It's a blast. In the the harry potter world does the united states exist?

Im a harry potter fan but noticed that in harry potter everything takes place in great Britain, where is the us and do they have even have have wizards in the us.

Answer: Yes it does, but you have to read between the lines.

The Harry Potter books take place between England,(Where Harry lived at Privet Drive), Scotland (Where Hogwarts is) and even Wales at one point, when they are on the hunt for Horcruxes and have to change campsites.

BUT....as it has been stated in the books, the magical world exists along side the Muggle world, all over the place! There are no mentions of American Wizards, but then again, we (the readers) only really meet Bulgarian and French ones up close because of the Triwizard tournament, and that's the first we read of other Magical Schools!
I can take a guess that Rowling wanted to focus on her story and characters without expanding TOO much into the wider world. As she is English, and the "Boarding School Novel" is a fairly British tradition, she would want to keep her books as British (and Irish, like Seamus!) as possible!
The rest of Europe definatley does exist in HP, because Hagrid treks to the Carpathians in book 5, The Order of the Pheonix.

And in case you are worried, I do know it's all a work of fiction by JK Rowling, I don't think any of it's real!

First copy the link for you banner.
Second go to your profile at Harry Potter Fanfiction.
Third click on manage stories, or whatever and wait till the page comes up.
Forth click on "edit summary" or something like that under the story that you want to put the banner on.
Fifth go to where you have written your summary for the viewers to read
Sixth Right on the bar up above the summary area (where would go to make the font bold or underlined) there is a button that looks like a small mountain with a sun on top of it. Click on that and a new, smaller window will come up.
Seventh, paste your banner's link into the bar on the small window. Click save.
Eight, your banner will appear right above your summary for your viewers to...well...view.
