For me, Its hard to know what parts shes saying is true. I find that she comes off immature and not helpful. Also, what is with the age thing? Why did she lie about her age and to whom did she lie about it too? and why is it important to the trial that she did?

T. Martin, Anyone else see a man in the press box signal a "no" answer to the witness on the stand?
At 3:35 PM EST, probably close to 3:36 (footage aired on Fox News), witness Rachel Jeantel is being asked by the defense if she knew how far away the complex the victim allegedly walked to from the shop she was located. As shes stumbling with an answer, the camera pans to the press box, where a bald black male in a gray/beige suit on the left hand side quickly shakes his head in a manner very reminiscent of someone signaling an answer. Im not a tin-foil hat guy, but I do know enough body language to know the difference between nodding in disbelief and nodding as a signal. Anyone else notice this? And is this legal?

(and I even cited the time and location of what I saw in order that other people, perhaps more familiar with court proceedings, give me their opinions). Answer: I didn't notice that, but what I am noticing that the witnesses are inconsistent with the cold hard facts
One witness said she heard three gunshots on the phone, but there was only one.
Another said she saw Zimmerman on top of Martin beating him up, but the only injury (outside of the gunshot) Martin sustained was an abrasion under his knuckle, which is something you can get from punching somebody.
The media may call it a victory for their cause (they're clearly pro-Trayvon), but common sense and actual research would prove otherwise.

What is wrong with Trayvons prosecution witnesses?
I do not know why but thus far all of the witnesses for the prosecution have done a very poor job establishing credibility. They do not seem intelligent and I noticed that the defense attorney on cross examination has to repeat himself in order that the witnesses understand what is being asked. Perhaps they are nervous and for their sake I hope so. Trayvons friend who was cross examined today was not the " sharpest tool in the shed". She came off rather like a dolt unable to properly structure a sentence. If this is the best the prosecution can come up with I dare say the chubby Hispanic will walk a free man.
Answer: Rachel Jeantel is lying her butt off. She has contradicted every major statement that she has said in 3 depositions before the trial. She was coached. The defense had no idea she was going to get on the stand and contradict her previous statements. That's why this cross examination is taking so long.
The judge knows she is lying, that's why the defense is allowed to question her by making statements rather than asking questions.

Will Rachel Jeantel ruin the case for the prosecution?
Rachel Jeantel is the star witness for the prosecution in the Trayvon Martin murder trial. She has been caught in many lies. Im currently having an argument with my father. He says that nobody should judge her because we dont know what kind of pressure she is under. While I say that we cant judge her as a person. But I believe that we definitely judge her based on all the lies she has been caught in. He says that most of the stuff that she said wont affect the case anyway. That the main point to her testimony is that Trayvon said he was followed. I said that yes the main point is that she can say that Trayvon directly told her that he was being followed. But that the jury will not ignore that most of the stuff she had claimed previously under oath was a lie. Thats why credibility is always look at in criminal cases involving witnesses. I think its realistic to think that these lies can affect her credibility with the jury. The question remains Do you think its a realistic possibility that Rachel Jeantels testimony will affect the jury in a good or bad way? Can it hurt the prosecutions case?

Why is Rachel Jeantel getting away with her behavior on the witness stand?
This is in regards to the Zimmerman trial. She mumbles every answer with very, very little effort to make herself clearer in responding. She questions the attorneys. Her answers are indignant and is overall displaying borderline insubordination. How come the judge hasnt found her in contempt of the court?

Was Rachel Jeantel lying today or in her deposition?
In the Zimmerman trial, Rachel Jeantel was contradicting her deposition statements right and left. She was speaking in Ebonics, to the point where the court reporter could not understand her words. She had no pertinent information for the D.A. right after the event, but a couple months later, after being approached by Mr Martin, she had more memories and made a deposition. Now, months later and after being prepped and groomed by the Martin attorneys, she all of a sudden has remembered several things differently than she testified to even a few months ago.
Memory fades with time. Do we believe her testimony from today or months back?
Answer: It doesn't matter. She has lied and credibility is gone.
