Planning to get a Nexus 7. When should i get it?wait till thanksgiving or is anything better coming from nexus?
I really need a tab for reading and mild gaming and kind of for entertainment. Never owned a tablet before. So was wondering if I should just go get the tablet now or is something better coming up like the nexus 5? I may exchange the Lumia 920 that I have now for a nexus 5.. So was wondering if someone would guide me appropriately what to do..
Answer: the new nexus 7 just recently came out so there wont be another nexus for at least a year. if pricing is a concern i recommend purchasing the older nexus 7 model which is a slightly downgraded version of the new nexus 7... but if ur just gonna use it for reading and mild gaming theres really not that much of a difference between the two

Should i buy a new phone in winter this year or wait till next?
I got a nexus 4 just after Christmas, but am wondering if I should buy the nexus 5 when that is released.
I could easily afford it and as my n4 isnt on contract I could do it.
My some of my friends buy a new phone each year, and I have for the last couple of years but should I again?
Answer: See what the nexus 5 has to offer. If it has a tremendous amount of improvements over the N4 then go for it. If not, then save your money.

Should i get the HTC One or wait for nexus 5?
Hi
I am getting a new phone soon. This Id gonna be my first smartphone after I finally convinced my parents (Im 17).
Anyway, I would still prefer the HTC one over nexus phone because of the design (aluminum, speakers, HTC sense 5) and the specs are very good and would still be good for the next 2-2.5 years at least.
However, what Im afraid of is manufacturers support for the device. Its already 7 months old, and Im pretty sure HTC will release a new flagship next Feb/march (a year after release of HTC one), and that would make them just care less and not push updates that come from Google, and again, the device is already 7 months old.
However, the reason why I also want to wait for the nexus 5 is so that I can get a brand new device and get better support (updates, etc), and the device would be brand new at this time, unlike the HTC one thats already 7 months old.
Price is no biggy for me, because if I decide to get the nexus 5 Ill have to get it from play store for 359+17 shipping+13% taxes, and that would be only about $65 less than getting the HTC one from the carrier at a reduced price....
So I want your opinion on whether I should wait and get nexus 5 or just get the HTC one now. Again price is no issue for me. Im just worried about manufacturers support with updates and new features. If I get the HTC one itll probably be outdated in maybe February/march 2014, and thats why Im worried otherwise I wanna get it even if nexus 5 would have better specs
Your opinions are highly appreciated
Thanks

What makes these tablets different from each other?
1. Apple (iPad)
2. Samsung (Galaxy)
3. Amazon (Kindle Fire)
4. Asus (Nexus)
5. Barnes and Noble (Nook)
What features and characteristics do these tablets have which make them different from other tablets?
Answer: The most obvious difference is that the Apple iPad runs on iOS (an operating system made by Apple exclusively for it's products). The rest of the tablets on that list run the Android operating system made by Google. They each customize the Android OS to fit their own device.
For example, Galaxy, Kindle Fire, Nexus, Nook all run Android that are slightly customized by their manufacturer.
In my opinion, the Apple iPad is the best large sized tablet. Second place would be the Nexus (it is very smooth) whereas the Galaxy and the rest tend to lag a lot which is frustrating to me. The Nexus 7 is INCREDIBLY well priced for what it is - it's unbelievable. I don't like the Samsung Galaxy because it when I compared it with Asus Transformer in Best Buy side-by-side, the Samsung lagged A LOT more.
So, the main difference in the operating system in which they run. The Apple iPad and Asus/Google Nexus 7 are the two best out of the list. I wouldn't even consider the other ones.

With the recent cuts in Nexus 4 price, and the rumours and news about nexus 5. What should I buy?
The nexus 4 is at 249$. I live in India, Bangalore. Its really cheap at that price tag, and the performance, specs, updates, you know it all. So i plan on buying it. But the nexus 5 with the 4.4 KitKat is now unveiled. I dont know whether if i should wait for the Nexus 5 or just grab the Nexus 4 itself. Having a hard time making that decision. If you have an opinion, tell me about it. Thanks! :)
Answer: I'd say wait for the Nexus 5 or maybe give the iPhone 5C a chance. The iPhone 5C is a cheaper option for people wanting to get an iPhone off contract so they don't have to pay the off contract steep prices for the iPhone 5 and soon iPhone 5S. iPhone 5C also is suppose to be targeted a lot for people in China, India, and other places around there. Apple announces them on Tuesday so I'd at least recommend watching the presentation from Apple. If the iPhone 5C isn't for you I'd say waiting for the Nexus 5. Waits are always usually worth it in the end. You don't want to have the Nexus 4 then be saying when the Nexus 5 comes out, darn I wish I had waited for the Nexus 5!

Should I buy the Galaxy S4 or wait for the Google Nexus 5?
I really love the Samsung Galaxy S4 and my parents can finally afford to buy me one. However I am afraid that if the Nexus 5 comes out it will outclass the S4 by far and I do not want to make the wrong choice. So when do you expect the Nexus 5 to come out and do you think that it will be worth if I wait a little longer?
PS: My parents cant buy me a new phone every year and they cannot afford a Galaxy Note 3 either so this decision is quite important to me, Thanks!
Answer: just wait.
the nexus 5 SHOULD be out by the end of october.
rumors are stating that it will have the snapdragon 800 processor
5" 1080P display with narrow bezels
13MP OIS camera from the LG G2
2300mah battery
and be about the same size as the Nexus 4
and hopefully it will be around the same price as the previous Nexus 4
but this is really a matter of what you like more. if you want features on top of features with some nice hardware, get the S4
if you like the "bare bones" stock android OS, and like guarantees of getting updates for 2 years as well as an awesome developement community, get the Nexus 5.
that being said, the S4 isn't going to be noticeably slower in day to day use. phones are getting that good these days.
i am waiting for the Nexus 5. i have been on the galaxy nexus since it came out almost 2 years ago and it is STILL holding up strong. its the only phone that has been just as fast, if not faster than the day i bought it....and that has everything to do with stock android 4.3 and nothing to do with Samsung (who made the device) thats what i love about stock android...even on 2 year old, underpowered phones, it is still super fast and smooth. the nexus 5 should last more than 2 years for sure.

Should I buy the Nexus 5 when it releases?
I will be buying a new phone in January 2014 and I guess Nexus 5 is my best option because it comes with amazing hardware and a affordable price.
I want to keep it for 2 years or more. But I have only one fear that Nexus 5 is 32 bit. After Apple introduced 64 bit on iOS, Samsung, Intel and Nvidia have also announced 64 bit chips for mobile devices next year.
Once 64 bit apps start rolling out on Android and iOS wouldnt that mean that my Nexus 5 wouldnt be able to handle them? Because a 32 bit processor cant run 64 bit apps...
So should I buy Nexus 5 or not...how long will 32 bit last?

Would google release a nexus 5 in may?
There is a rumour that the nexus 5 will be released in may at Google I/o. Do you think it will be released so soon after the nexus 4? Or would it be too soon and just infuriate people?
Answer: The Nexus 5 should be coming out at the I/O 2013 along with the Nexus 7 II. There aren't many details on the Nexus 5, but the phone should have an insanely good camera. The Nexus 7 II will have a better HD Screen and a faster processer, but that's all that's known for now. If you want to be updated on this, check out my blog.

Should I get a nexus 4 or wait until the possible nexus 5 comes out?
I want to start doing more dev work with Android devices, I have the nexus 7 (gen1) and have done a lot of work with it and love. I want to work with a smaller platform that I can use cell service on; but suspect that a nexus 5 or nexus 4 gen2 will be out. Should I wait, or is the Nexus 4 such a good phone it would be worth it to get it now? I want a nexus 4 merely because the source code is out, and theyre pretty mainstream for devs.

Should I wait for the Nexus 5 or get the Nexus 4?
Im looking at getting my first smartphone ever... Im wanting to get the Nexus 4 16GB but now that ive heard the rumors about the Nexus 5, im not sure. Ive been wanting a phone so I could take pics and stuff for vacations, so i was looking to get a phone before summer. But the Nexus 5 is rumored to come out in october, but I dont know if i can wait that long. I dont want to wait all of summer and be disappointed with the Nexus 5 or get a Nexus 4 and have buyers remorse. I also dont want to wait and have the Nexus 5 be overpriced (like over $350) and not have it be GSM unlocked like the Nexus 4. I also heard the Nexus 5 camera is going to be 14 Megapixles, and a camera is a big selling point for me in a phone, so I need your help! WHICH ONE SHOULD I BUY?
Answer: First, you need to answer the question: Is it absolutely necessary to buy a phone before the summer? If your answer is YES, then buy the Nexus 4, since its a great phone that covers most or all the necessities, specially for a first smartphone user. Rule #1 is don't mourn if a newer better phone is released. If your phone covers your needs, stick with it and don't spend money.
If your answer NO, then you should probably know that Nexus WILL be unlocked, it has always been, and will probably cost the same ($300) or maybe $400 (which is still not much for a high end smartphone). Also note that megapixels is not even the most important feature of a camera, color and lenses are more important. This is a gamble and a waiting issue. If you can wait, then wait. If not, then go buy.
